Spencer M. Dickson was born and raised in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.  He attended Brigham Young University as a Gordon B. Hinckley Presidential Scholar with a full tuition 4-year academic scholarship.  He graduated in 2009 with a B.A. in Chemistry.

Spencer graduated cum laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University where he served as managing editor of the Arizona State Law Journal. He was also named a Pedrick Scholar, a Learning, Science and Innovation Center Scholar, and a J. Ruben Clark Scholar.  He was recognized for receiving the highest grades in both Civil Procedure and Business Organizations.

Spencer did clerkships with several law firms, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, and was an intern for Chief Justice Rebecca White Berch on the Arizona Supreme Court. He is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese. Spencer is an Eagle Scout, currently volunteers as scout leader and enjoys cycling and triathlons.  He and his wife, Aly, have three children.
